Our platform for DAB

Context
Some years ago the TDF CCETT developed a complete DAB broadcasting equipment which is still available today.

Objectives
Thanks to this platform it’s possible to experiment on the ground several systems:

- Radio multimedia services
- Dynamic radio/data multiplexing
- Radio splicing
- Compliance with the DAB standard

Services
This is the ideal environment provided by TDF to validate the various following services:
- Tests and validity of audio/PAD services,
- Test and validity of data services (256 Kb/sec)
- Measurement campaign and tests
- DAB ITS experiments
- Survey of professional equipment
- Mobile Multimedia services
- Broadcast websites

Projects
TDF-C2R is involved in the following European projects, which make extensive use of this platform. TDF CCETT contributed to DIAMOND project, whose objective is to experiment interactive multimedia services for vehicles.
